I am a Coach, Fitness Professional, Teacher, and Community Organizer. From working in the service industry to volunteer coaching to starting a non-profit and now running for congress, I have always been a community-first minded person.
I have never wanted to run for office but have always paid attention to politics. This has brought me to realize that neither the Democrats nor Republicans will ever do what is needed for the people. Corporate parties will serve their masters. To have a party that will serve the common man, it must be filled with the common man.

I am a lifelong resident of the Islands and a graduate of the Hawaiʻi public school system. Later, I earned a degree in Anthropology from the University of Hawai'i, with a focus on Hawaiian and Pacific cultures.
I spent my youth enjoying the ocean, surfing, and fishing. My career began alongside my father in his small licensed painting company in Kailua. As a second-generation painting contractor, I understand the hard work and dedication required to run a small, humble business. The harsh economic realities of providing health care for my employees, myself, and my family weigh heavily on us and are a significant reason why many small businesses struggle or fail.
That fact is why Medicare for All is a top priority, along with promoting a stronger union membership across all sectors to ensure that workers are provided with living wages, benefits, sick time, vacation pay, and retirement pension so those who worked hard their entire lives may grow old with dignity and help provide an intergenerational safety net allowing families to stay together and in their homes.
To move forward with greater stability, Hawai'i must create green infrastructure jobs and provide affordable renewable solar energy, while increasing support for Kūpuna and vulnerable populations to help them remain in their homes.
I was not schooled for a life in politics, yet I answered the call and decided to stand up for our youth, our Kūpuna, and ourselves to make it a better Hawaii for the Kanaka Maoli and the working class. I will fight for us.
